BEHIND THE SCENES GOD IS NOT SILENT

“Journeys with God”; that should have been the befitting title for this blog, LOL. But seriously, there are times in our walk with God when we feel that God is silent. You may be there right now. God is not mad at you. You have done “nothing wrong”. Take courage God has already responded to your need behind the scenes.

Isaiah 46:10-I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

Why should I be convinced of this? Because as the Alpha and Omega God, He normally sees the end from the beginning. In fact, He says, before you were born, He knew you and had plans lined out for you including the plan for what you think He is in silent about!

TIMING- Since He knows the end from the time you asked Him, God may be waiting for the right timing to release the answer to you. The Bible has multiple accounts that say “at the appointed time” or “when the time came”. At the appointed time, He will release the answer

FAITH-I believe we are or have been in a prolonged season of FAITH DEVELOPMENT. In fact, I would call it STRETCHED faith development. Where God wants us to TRUST HIM FOR AND IN EVERYTHING. This involves staying in sustained faith, constantly believing the promises related to the answer you are waiting for. I may also call it CONTENTIOUS FAITH, where you are not backing down no matter the contrary around you. In contentious faith, you know and are firm that God will deliver. With that your mind, soul emotions and spirit must align to that promise.

PROMOTION- God may delay the answer to mature you for the next level of promotion. This comes with internal searching of motives and intents of that prayer request. It also comes with character development; being sharpened by the Lord.

This week, wipe your tears. Let go your frustrations. God sees your tears, He sees the sincerity of your heart. God is not mad at you. Endure the process. Stand on these two promises; (1) The One Who can turn 1000 years in one day has heard your prayers. 2 Peter 3:8 (2) The God sees the end from the beginning has already released your answer behind the scenes.

UMMH, COULD THE FIGHT BE BECAUSE OF THE WORD?

Once I heard a dear sister respond; “Pauline, I am not going to no prophetic meetings. Every time a get prophesy hell breaks loose. I have had enough fights, no aint coming”

Matthew 13:20-21 caught my attention two weeks ago, it says-The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

The latter part of verse 21 is what caught my attention, Jesus saying that the fight/percussions come because of the word. The word here is the promise God gave you, what has been spoken over you. A God ordained declaration or prophesy over you. That is the word. Could it be that all along the fights, delays, frustrations, oppositions, resistances, gossips, betrayals, slander, hurt, name it, are all BECAUSE OF THE WORD YOU RECEIVED!

Ponder on that for a minute. Instead of fighting the enemy, REFOCUS on the promise, the declaration, the prophesy. Switch all your attention to these, because He who promised, He is sure to perform them to completion and to perfection. Philippians 1:6. God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

This week, instead of focusing on the devil and his antics, FOCUS ON THE PROMISE. It is highly likely that he is opposing that word. Satan tried Jesus too by offering other alternatives. But Jesus stood to the task of His assignment. You too can, because you now have this Jesus in you and you have a greater covenant that establishes you as co-heir, reigning victorious always with Jesus.

Focus on the word you received. The promises of God are all YES and ALL in Him Amen!

GOD IS TIMELESS. SO ASK FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASES

Some of you may relate. I tend to do most of my reflection and meditation while driving. So I was pondering on God’s promises that had been spoken over my life and concluded that I would commit them to prayer the next morning and start declaring them for the season.

Right there the Holy Spirit said, but God is timeless! And I shook my head nodding NO- why wait for tomorrow to declare the promises. Start now, God is timeless! And off I went. I started by thanking God for His omnipresence. Then the Holy Spirit reminded me that He is the Alpha and Omega. And that God hears our prayers immediately the first time we pray.

•Isaiah 65:24-Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.
•Psalm 34:17- The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.
•Deuteronomy 4:7-For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him?

Then I proceeded with; today is the day of salvation, right now this hour this evening, God can still release my miracles. God is timeless and limitless. Off I went, praying the immediate releases. Lord release now! Let your Angels disperse them now. Let them connect with me now, this evening!

I don’t know about you, it could be that the blessings, miracles, promises and breakthroughs have already been released on earth, already here somewhere waiting for us to call them in.

This week, do not hesitate to ask God for immediate releases. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation 2 Corinthians 2:6. Today is the day of salvation, now is the hour of deliverance. Today is the day of healing, now is the hour of restoration and restitution. Every true prophesy is a promise from God. Reflect on past prophesies, pray them in. God is timeless, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of our salvation and miracles.

BETWEEN THE PRAYER AND THE PROMISE

Often people will question what they should in the period between the initial prayer and answer. Frankly this most challenging position and the most frustrating and dry period; especially if you have waited for so long. My encouragement to you this week is to stay consistent over this period.

100% of these blogs are from personal experience of what God is teaching and sharing with me. Most of these lessons take place when I am just up and about doing errands or while reflecting. This lesson was one of them, I was walking from one room to the next while I received this. That the best thing to do while waiting for the breakthrough, answer of promise is to stay consistent in faith;

Stay consistent in your daily devotion in reading the Bible and prayer-A perfect example were Zachariah and Elizabeth despite not having children, they stayed consistent serving the Lord “were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.” (Luke 1:6)

Stay consistent in the assignment God has given you- King David reminds me of this commitment. That even after being anointed for the first time as king, he returned to do his initial assignment as a shepherd until the appointed time came. Continue to faithfully doing your assignment, continue to dream, expand and fine tune what God has given you, don’t hold back and don’t quit. Serve God fully in your current position.

Pursue God and Serve God in your capacity in want and in abundance- Apostle Paul reminds me of this when he says I know how to abound in lack and in abundance. Bill Johnson teaches on this too. In one of his books Bill wrote, pray and seek God just as much when things are ok, just as you would pray and seek God when things are bad; this really changed my perception of God and for ministry. To stay consistent at all time

Activate and Increase praise, worship and thanksgiving during this period- There are times that “warring in prayer stops”, petitioning stops, decreeing and declaring stops, prophesying stops, but Ohh the power of praise, worship and thanksgiving. This is the position king Jehoshaphat took 2 Chronicles 20; 22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon. (Please read whole chapter 2Chronicles 20)

You are being matured and prepared for the promise-Biblical accounts of Joseph and David remind us of this. Would you agree that both Joseph and David served in various capacities in preparation for the higher positions? The waiting period then is likely a training and maturing period in preparation for your promise

Keep your focus on Jesus and not the issue-All battles belong to our Lord. Keeping our focus on Jesus is a form of surrender; telling the Lord we have submitted the issue to Him; trusting He will bring forth the deliverables!

Remember, there comes the fullness of time – In the fullness of time Isaac was born, in the fullness of time Jesus was born! Some delays are a result of God waiting for the appointed time, the right timing. At the appointed time, I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. “Genesis 18:14

In the fullness of time, at the appointed time, your answer is coming. Stay Consistent
