LEAVE THE CAMP

I have observed something in the ministerial journey so far and even on a personal note. That the spirit of setback can manifest by constantly reminding you of past trauma, offenses of negative situations and even successes and achievements. My encouragement to you this week is “do not make a bed out of the situation, leave the camp!

Whenever you start rehearsing past experiences whether good or bad and don’t seem to moving forward; you have just made a camp. Satan may even lead you to believe that “you own the issue with labels like “my migraines”, my abuse, my loss, my arthritis, my divorce; or you know, I can’t be healed because this runs in my family; my success, my award, my profit, my promotion. Shortly after, you find yourself identifying yourself with these These are deceptions and tactics to give you a false identity, keep you stagnant, to keep you from deliverance and to keep you from pursuing your destiny. Camp no more!

You know, there a gets a point where you can’t just take these anymore; where you draw the line, and say enough is enough. I am not down playing any negative experiences or their effects; but do not allow satan to keep you in his camp. His aim is to pamper you, make you feel victimized and rationalize you to destruction; aborting your destiny.

The story of the 4 lepers in 2 Kings 7:4 If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. These were lepers who in the were castes making some dire decisions about their destinies. (Please read the whole chapter 2 Kings 7)

MOST DELIVERANCES OCCUR WHEN WE DENOUNCE AND LET GO WHAT WE HAVE ALLOWED IN OUR LIVES; REVOKING FALSE BELIEFS AND COVENANTS ESTABLISHED IN THE “CAMP”. This week evaluate any areas of your life where you do not see progress for any “camp behavior”. Denounce them and give them an exit slip with NO RETURN STAMPS in the name of Jesus. Once they leave, fill your life with Bible Scriptures concerning the area you just released; pray more and ask the Holy Spirit to heal that area completely. Then ask the Holy Spirit to also show you the progress you should pursue. And don’t worry, even if you had “camped” for so long, the same Holy Spirit will recompense 7 times more what the canker worm had eaten Joel 2:32- And EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord shall be delivered

The Breakthroughs and new things in 2017, will only happened when we DECIDE to let go the past and present; surrender and allow God to fully lead you. Are you ready to leave the camp?

FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, POTS ON FIRE

In most charismatic movements, churches and gatherings, these have become common expressions that we often hear among us. Often there calls for fire to come down to destroy, to be consumed with fire, but this week I would like us to review the next step in the manufacturing process of the pot; it is being […]

FIRST RESPONDERS IN OUR LIVES-DESTINY

They are the ones who gave us the first hand of support, the divine connections that God placed in our lives to set as towards our destinies. For me, it was Mr. D.M who paid my first rent after giving me a ride from work and as he dropped me off, he noticed I was living in my car. I did not know Mr. D.M; he was still a stranger, I only met him because I served him his filet sandwich order at McDonalds. I had just turned 20.

The first responders, they are the people God placed in our lives to support us, open doors and hold our hands as we crossed several bridges towards our purposes. They can be total strangers, classmates, co-workers, friends or family. They are the people God sends to support our visions. Sadly, I’ve also noticed that human beings have a tendency of forgetting and or despising those first responders after they (human beings) have been elevated and promoted by God OR if more qualified responders have come to support the next level of their journey.

LESSONS- As I pondered on these 2 weeks ago, I concluded to become like Apostle Paul
(1) God will place strategic people and resources along your path as you journey in the destiny He designed for you
(2) Help people with your eyes closed never expecting a return from humans, instead let God reward you, God rewards better anyways
(3) While helping (being the first responder), give 1000% for God sees the intents of your heart, BUT DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE USED OR EXPLOITED
(4) Do not be weary in doing good, for in due time you shall reap.
(5) If the people you once helped have
hurt you, betrayed or turned against you, first check your motives for helping them. Regardless of whether your motives were sincere of not, release them, forgive them, let God avenge, move on.
(7)Most importantly, never, never, ever, despise people who first helped you even if they turn to be something else later in life; at some point these same people were valuable to you.

Romans 12:10-Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another v18 Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. Philippians 2:3-4 -. Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves.   And look out for one another’s interests, not just for your own. For God so loved the world….

Do you have any first responders in your life? This week pray for them. Give them a call, text them, send them a valuable gift. Remind them that you appreciate what they did for you.

STAYING CURRENT

This millennial life seems to be moving so fast that to a level, we are constantly left questioning what to do next or tomorrow. Although we may know what’s happening now, there is also an urgency to know what will happen next. This continuous concern about the future may lead to anxiety and restlessness to creep in. Yet it is from here too that we are reminded of the always present God. The 1 AM. Determine to stay current with Him.

In Acts 17:28, we are reminded that in God we live and move and have our being. This means The ever-present I AM is always available for the currently as well as being present for the future. God is the antidote of every negative experience, that which you do not have. Yet also, the One who increases what you currently have in your hands.

I encourage you STAY IN THE PRESENT WITH GOD this week and throughout the year. Our God is the EVER-PRESENT help in times of need. Be anxious for nothing in everything, let your needs known to God
• If sick the AM is present to heal
• In lack, the AM is present to provide and multiply
• In fear, the AM is present to rescue and protect
• If tired and weak, the AM is our strength and hope
• If undecided and unsure, the Am is present to provide guidance and counsel

In prayer, this week stay current with God and call on the God of the situation you are in. Most of the time I rehearse and remind God What He is to that situation. Not that God does not know, but there is power in speaking the Word of God back to Him because God stands by His Word to perform it. Stay current with God, He is our ever-present deliverer, He is our daily bread of life, He is our present Rock in Whom we firmly stand. Stay current for every area of your life and family. Remind God of the promise related to that family issue. He is the AM, the I AM right here now, He will be right there tomorrow and He will right there ten years from now.
